about me

i don’t claim to be a writer but sometimes i want to share my thoughts on dance and possibly even some other things. don’t expect proper grammar and punctuation, tho i will make some attempt at correct spelling. (on the other hand, i will probably do things like shorten the word “though” to “tho”). i tend not to bother with capitalization and that is largely because i don’t know how to type and can’t be bothered with searching for the shift key. to my credit, i do know the difference between there, they’re and their as well as to, too and two and will never write the word “loose” when referring to not winning something.
all that aside, here are a few things that are actually “about me”. i love ballet – both dancing and watching. i love walking, nature and biking (not hardcore with spandex and all that, but just as a leisure activity).
i have been into photography lately. my handsome hubby bought me a camera for christmas and while i don’t really know what i’m doing i’m having a lot of fun with it.
handsome hubby and i have a bunch of beautiful and kind-hearted (most of the time) children and i love them with every ounce of my being : ) oh- and i teach ballet!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am a little jealous, Robin; I am a lifelong lover of ballet with two left feet. How wonderful that you are able to share this with your students!

I love your thoughts on grammar. There are more important things! I also really liked your choreography. Nice to “meet” you. 🙂

  12. Hello. I a beginner ballet student.I was having fun reading your about me page. I wasn’t sure if the first paragraph was funny unintentionally or on purpose but it made me smile. Then i saw your interests and thought “oh this person seems cool” and then i saw that you are a ballet teacher. You seem nicer than other ones I have met, lol.
    I like your ballet reviews.

Thank you for your sweet comments! And thank you for reading.
Haha, well, yes I was attempting to be at least somewhat amusing, or lighthearted at least 🙂
Good luck with your ballet- it can be wonderfully rewarding !
